AirDog

Have you ever wondered how you will be looking when you do some sort of cool stuffs like skating, cycling, paragliding even somersault and now a days it became usual to capture oneself in camera and naming the job as "selfie".
What if I say you can capture yourself doing these outdoor activities without anyone’s assistance? It is merely impossible for common people to have a contract with sports channel and media to film their activities. But this can now be replaced by latest device named “Air Dog” which is nothing but a quad copter.
Helico, has successfully introduced AirDog, the world’s first automated drone designed to track and video outdoor sports and activities, using Stratasys 3D printing technology. Aimed primarily at the consumer market, AirDog is innovative, yet simple to use ‘quad-copter’ the operates via a wrist worn tracking device and accommodates a standard GoPro sports camera. Users can automatically capture exciting live aerial video footage and still photography of themselves, having set speed, distance and height levels for AirDog to follow. Helico is specifically targeting the outdoor extreme sports market and expects AirDog to be of particular interest to recreational participants of freestyle BMX, Motocross and Skateboarding, as well as water-such as surfing, kite-surfing and wake boarding.

New Verizon iPad able to connect to AT&T’s 3G network

If you’re lookng to pick up a 4G LTE model of the new iPad today and hoping for some cross network compatbility, you’re in luck. A MacRumors forum member decided to test if his Verizon 4G LTE model would work on AT&T’s GSM network. The result? Turns out that 4G iPads are unlocked.

When jsnuff1 swapped out his Verizon microSIM for an AT&T card, he discovered that after tweaking APN settings, his model would connect to AT&T’s 3G GSM network:
"I was one of the first to obtain a Verizon iPad and can happily confirm that this is allowed! I used my ATT iPhone 4S sim card and took out the Verizon sim, and data worked! You must apply the AT&T APN carrier settings before this works though."
Devices were already confirmed to roam on worldwide networks, although now that LTE models are confirmed to be unlocked, you can take it one step further and swap out the microSIMs for local offerings to keep costs down.

Citroen UFO – Unidentified Flying Object

Citroen UFO, Flying Car, Unidentified Flying Object
In the future if you see an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) & you think that those are some space machines occupied by aliens out of some science fiction, then you could well be wrong. They could well be regular cars of the future occupied by our fellow world citizens. At least that is what French company Citroen is planning to do.
French designer Ora-ito of Citroen has come out with a concept car which resembles the shape of an UFO that we are used to see in any science fiction alien movies of Hollywood. The UFO concept car design is more of a “mutated” version of its earlier Citroen DS which was much appreciated in the automobile world for its aerodynamic body & futuristic look. The DS model is commonly used by the President & is now enrolled into the “genetic transformations” from Ora-Ito artistic vision.

The UFO concept car is typically shaped like a flying saucer which gives it a wonderfully aerodynamic body. The concept seems to indicate what form transport will take in the future. Design of the UFO concept car displays a combination of science, art & engineering. The car also has no wheels attached to it. The UFO has not been designed as just another concept car but it has been designed instead to convey a universal message to the car industry about the future of transportation through the eyes of an artist.

Renault Duster

Renault has moved out of the Logan pact with Mahindra and the company has now officially announced that they will bring two of their cars to the Indian Market. One among the SUVs would be the Renault Duster. The Dacia Duster so to say is a funky looking SUV and one of the cheapest in the world. In India, the price of this car is said to be anything between 6.5 lakh to 7 lakh. The Duster is not a soft roader for the price offered; the car can take on any road. The ground clearance of the Duster is 210 mm which makes it taller and the chunky 215/65 R 16’s just make the image of the SUV a complete one.

The Duster is offered with two-wheel or four-wheel drive. The 4x4 variants make use of Nissan's all-wheel drive system which allows the driver to choose from three different driving modes: Auto, in which the front/rear torque split is calculated automatically as a function of available grip, Lock, whereby 50 per cent of torque is consistently fed through the rear axle, and 4x2 where the transmission is locked into two-wheel drive for maximum fuel efficiency.

The Duster will be made available in the 1.6 petrol or the 1.5 diesel. The 1.6 L petrol version is said to churn out 105 bhp while the 1.5 L is tuned to produce either 85 or 110 bhp. The Duster is long and wide as well and is a bit smaller than the Mahindra Scorpio. The optimum capacity of the car is five healthy adults.
The Duster is likely to face competition from all the SUV’s in India. What will be of utmost importance though is the drivability of the car, the way the car handles on Indian roads. Renault will be the new player in the changing Indian Car Market scene. Though the company has witnessed and understand what the Indian Crowd admires most, their first sole output will face competition against their earlier collaborators Mahindra.
